Jasper County Animal Rescue League and Humane Society
Looking for a great way to give back to your community? Look no further! The Jasper County Animal Rescue League is looking for more volunteers! What will this entail you may ask? First, we ask that you attend our 1hr volunteer orientation, where you can learn about the ways you can give your time. We have a number of ways for you to stay involved with us! Some of those opportunities include:

- Dog walking
- Canine Enrichment
- Feline socialization and enrichment
- Marketing adoptable animals
- Fundraising
- Event planning
- Basic cleaning
- Shelter renovation
- And more!

We are dedicated to helping you find an area where you are comfortable spending your time. If you have a specific area you’re interested in learning more about, we encourage you to talk to staff about opportunities available in that area.

Volunteer Orientation

Volunteer Orientation is held on the 1st Monday of each month at 5:30pm and the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10am. Orientation takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete. There is no sign up required. Volunteers under the age of 16 years of age must have a parent or guardian present with them during orientation and when volunteering.
